You've found the web presence of Todd Harris, Ph.D.. I'm a scientific programmer in the laboratory
of Dr. Lincoln
D. Stein, at the Cold
Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York, USA.
I use my background in experimental genetics to develop biologically-meaningful and researcher-friendly software and databases. This includes tools for the storage, presentation, and analysis of data from large-scale genomics and proteomics projects. You can read more about my current research projects or more day-to-day technical details in my work blog, GeeGenome.Or perhaps you are looking for my personal web pages where I explore the intersection of art, science, politics, and economics, or really just whatever I feel like discussing? Consulting services
Time permitting, I offer freelance
consulting in the following areas:

False color images of C. briggsae (red) and
C. elegans (blue). Among many other experimental milestones, C. elegans was the first multicellular organism whose genomic sequence was fully deduced, paving the way for the sequencing of the human genome. The sequencing of the C. briggsae genome provides an important yardstick that helps to uncover which regions of a genome are most essential for the health of an organism.
